I stitched another ornament before the end of March but didn't get it "finished" until about a week or so ago. Here it is:
That is "Snowflake Ornament", the first in the series of Christmas ornaments by Stoney Creek from their February 2008 magazine. It is stitched over two on 28 count opalescent Lugana with Azure Skies Caron Waterlilies. A Mill Hill treasure is in the center and has two different colors of Mill Hill beads throughout the design, too. I made my own cording as well as my own tassel and have decided I hate making tassels. *grumble grumble* But it turned out okay...all except for the hanger, which is not-so-pretty. Notice I cut that part out of the picture? hahahaha Oh well, I like it overall other than the fact that it's about 4 1/2" square and that's a bit larger than I thought it would be.
Hey, quick question to my readers...How many WIPs do you have? My mother forced me to count mine (okay, so "forced" is a strong word) and I have twelve of 'em. *thud* So, 'fess up in your comments with how many you have...if you dare! *mwah hahahaha*
Hope everyone's been doing great. I hope to be back with more pictures soon. Take care, bye for now, and keep that frog away from our stitching!

I try working on several wips but I could only work on one Lizette
You are getting rain? We haven't had any yet today but it's supposed to be coming.
Your ornament is lovely! I like a few 'huge' ornaments on the tree to balance out those that are so much smaller...it's pretty that way.
WIPs? I think I have five unless I've forgotten any! I have that new-start-itch so the number will probably go up soon.
Let's try to get together some Saturday for stash shopping and lunch, what say?
Love the snowflake ornament :0) I come in right under ya with 11 wips but the day is still young & who knows I might get a wild hair today & start another one.
What, huh,...WIP?...I can't hear you .....lalalalalalalala....can't make me....lalalalala :-) Seriously though your ornie is very pretty!
That I'm working on right now? 3.
UFOs has to be up to 60. Everytime I clean, I find more. I think they reproduce.
Beautiful ornie! You're not the first to say you don't like making tassels...I may as well not even try..lol!! I'm all thumbs! Yours turned out beautiful...so congrats! on a gorgeous finish:)
