The stitching time that I've managed to get has all been spent on "Repair Shop" from the Stoney Creek magazine (October 2007). Here is the latest WIP picture:
Believe it or not, this is the only thing I have stitched on in the last month! Yep, that's right -- no new starts, no project-hopping...nothing! I've been a good girl. I'm dyyyyyyying to get "Repair Shop" finished to hang in my craft room -- which should (hopefully) happen within the next couple of weeks.
The new 911 dispatcher job is going great but I'm b-o-r-e-d with observing and reading stuff from manuals. It's a necessary part of training, I know, but this coming week should have me doing "real" stuff -- like answering calls and communicating with the officers over the radio. I'm pumped and ready!
Wishing everyone the best and lots of frog-free stitching time...bye for now!

It's looking really good!
Hey gal, your sewing machine is looking great. The more I see of it, the more I like it.
Glad to hear the job is going well and that you get to do "real work" soon.
The IH35 Stitchtogether is next Saturday - HINT! HINT!

Hi LoriRay,
Repair Shop looks fabulous! That will look really good hanging in a craft room. Glad you are enjoying your new job. Sounds like your next week is going to be really exciting. :) Have a great week!
Repair Shop is coming along great. I can't wait to see it when it is done. I'm glad to hear that the job is going well.
Great progress on it.
That's going to be an amazing piece when it's completed. Would you mind posting which issue of the SC magazine it's in?
I'm so pleased you are enjoying the new job! The boring part isn't fun but once it's finished...
Love the stitching! This will be so nice in your craft room!
Thanks for the comments, ladies! :)
Lisa -- Oh how I wish I could come...but that's kind of hard to do when I have to be at work at 6 AM Sunday morning. LOL
Barbara -- It's in the October 2007 Stoney Creek magazine issue. Sorry that I didn't include that in my last post but I've now edited it to include that info.
Thanks again for the compliments on my stitching and my new job. Hope everyone has a great week with lots of stitching!
Hi LoriRay,
The Repair shop is coming along nicely. I cann't wait to see your finish! Keep up the good progress!
Looks awesome. The first couple of weeks is always boring at a new job, anyway.
Hey girl!! (yes, I'm behind on blogging:) I LOVE this piece! Beautiful progress! I was hoping it would be a giveaway...like to me;)
I'm so happy for you Miss Dispatcher!
Remember, one day we may hear one of your 911 calls on the national news, so always end your calls with A SHOUT OUT TO YOUR TEXAS FRIENDS!!..lol....
A silly sense of humor will certainly come in handy as an operator for 911, as you will soon learn. It's not in any manual or any theory you will have studied. Love the Repair Shop where you can be always in stitches.
I found that part of the job boring too but it's important..you'll find that out once you dive in! :) You are SMOKING on that piece woman!
wow you are a better girl than I , I get bored with the same piece and I just "have to start" another piece.lol
HEY!!
Are you dead, mon? Are you stitching? Are you stashing?
I hope work is going well and that all is well in your world.

WOW...it is BEAUTIFUL!!!
