Mail Art received...my first ever! :-)

Even though I have already updated my blog once today -- see the post below this one -- I have to add this post all by itself so that it gets the recognition it deserves. My stitching/board friend, Winifred in Canada, sent me the first mail art I have ever received. It's even more wonderful than how mail art looks in pictures!

Included in the mail art envelope was a card, a Canadian breast cancer quarter, and a hank of Dark Mauve silk floss by Vikki Clayton. Wow, what a great package! Thank you, Winifred. *hugs*

Here is the front of the envelope: (note that I have strategically placed the floss over my last name and address...LOL)

And now for the back of the envelope, again with floss strategically placed to hide Winifred's address (LOL):

Thank you again, Winifred, for being so thoughtful, creative, and talented. I love my mail art and now you've made me want to make some, too. :-)
